REC Registration

When asset is registered and approved, it is like a fixed placeholder where RECs can be generated as long as assets is producing green renewable electricity RECs.

To be able to generate RECs in the Registry, metering evidence such as generation data are required for verification during RECs Registration. There are several sources accepted for generation data submission (Inverter API integration, authenticated access to inverter platform, invoices or IoT devices). Verification would involve comparing data with expected generation using nameplate capacity and relevant buffer to determine if the output of the generation is within the limits.

Invoice should provide details like

• Asset Name / Address
• Production Period
• Power Meter Reading (kWh/MWh)
